Cherish

I cherish life even though

I ain’t get a chance to live

21 doing life is the life I live

6 years, doing time, 

four and a half on this bid

I learn to cherish life

Being patient as a kid

12 is when I did my first bid

I had a chance to reflect 

How I really want to live?

It wasn’t about myself

I want my mom to live in a big house

(My main supported it)

Crazy, out of order,

That I got to do this time 

And couldn’t be there for my mom 

She said,

“Do the time, don’t let the time do you,

live your life, and never whine

Whatever you going through

it’s going to be fine

Stay focused

the time is not going to leave you behind

Keep on praying 

God going to give you a sign”
